Invention disclosures - by form, by Word or in the app

Good drafts start with good disclosures. PatentFlow gives your clients a guided form in their language, a Word template for those who prefer to write offline, and gives your firm an inbox where every submission is checked before any work begins.

A form on your firm's website

The form is embedded in your website with two lines of HTML and asks in seven steps what a draft needs: applicant and inventors, technical field and prior art, problem and solution, advantages and examples, drawings, origin and disclosure. It speaks German, English and French and keeps an unsent draft in the browser.

Each client gets a personal link, so a submission lands with the right client without anybody typing a name.

A Word template instead of the form

Clients who would rather fill in a document - together with colleagues, over several days - download a Word template with the same questions and upload it again in the form. The firm can also hand the template out itself - for a particular client or without client details, e.g. to prospective clients - and read returned files back in; the content lands in a new disclosure that is checked before it is created.

Sketches are pasted straight into the template and become the figures of the disclosure, with the text below each image as its description.

The inbox: nothing runs unchecked

Submissions wait in the inbox until an attorney confirms them and assigns them to a client - spam and duplicates never reach a file, and no AI runs on an unconfirmed submission. New clients from a submission are checked for conflicts on confirmation.

Employee inventions

For employee inventions under the German ArbnErfG the file tracks the notification, the confirmation of receipt, the claim, the release for foreign countries and the offer before a right is given up, each with its deadline, and helps with the compensation calculation according to the official guidelines.
